ALIGN – Where women of vision collect |
My sweet friend Kelsey is full of so many dreams and aspirations. One day I happened to run into her at a coffee shop and she told me about an event she was planning, ALIGN, and asked me to take photos for it. I jumped at the opportunity because I knew that anything Kelsey dreamt up would probably be awesome – and it was! Kelsey was the only person I knew at the beginning of the event, but at the end of the night I walked away with more friendships and was filled with inspiration to dream bigger.
From start to finish the evening was inspiring. Kelsey paid attention to every detail and created an atmosphere that fostered community and encouragement. She and her team made the place card decorations by hand and made a home cooked meal for us to enjoy. My favorite part of the evening was the food (obviously), but also the great conversations and friendships that arose. We spent time talking about who we are, where we come from and what our greatest personal ambitions are. I got to listen to the vision and plans of other women in the community and get to connect with women I probably wouldn’t have otherwise met. I definitely walked away more refreshed, humbled and motivated. I can’t wait for ALIGN to grow!
